The Close ABI Specialist Care is a small, 8-bed service for Adults with an acquired brain injury and ongoing complex needs, who cannot manage effectively in the wider community. We believe that individuals are best served by being closer to their families and resident in a small home where we can offer real personalised care to enable their rehabilitation to be best effective.

Our care is highly individualised, meaning people can gain as much out of their lives as possible from our exceptional nursing and clinical services which manages levels of consciousness, seizure activity, artificial feeding and airway care.

The Close ABI care for people whose physical, behavioural and cognitive needs require ongoing support and guidance to ensure that they maintain any gains they have already made in rehabilitation.

We recognise that people need to practice their newly-acquired and re-learnt skills in a variety of settings which encourages wider skills and allows them to make the most of their lives.
